Jennifer Lawrence Bursts Against The Critics Of Her Versace Dress
Jennifer Lawrence will wear the dress she wants regardless of whether it’s cold or not. Earlier this week the 27-year-old Oscar winner wore a Versace Pre-Fall 2018 black dress for a photo shoot in London of her most recent film, Red Sparrow. Some people on social networks criticized his clothes, which he wore while posing for photos with his male co-stars, all in coats due to the low temperatures.
“Wow,” Lawrence wrote on Facebook this Wednesday. “I really would not know where to start with this controversy of ‘Jennifer Lawrence wearing a revealing dress in the cold.’ Not only is it completely ridiculous, but I’m extremely offended, that Versace dress is fabulous, do you think I was going to cover that beautiful dressed in a coat and a scarf? I was outside just for 5 minutes.I would have stopped in the snow with that dress, because I love fashion and that was my choice “.
“This is sexist, this is ridiculous, this is not feminism,” said Lawrence, who rarely posts on social media, but is known for her honesty. “Exaggerating for everything someone does or says, creating controversy for innocuous silly things like what I choose to wear or not to wear will not move us forward, they are silly distractions of real problems, realize, people, everything they see me using is my choice, if I want to be cold”. The look of femme fatale by Lawrence in the photos also corresponds to her character in Red Sparrow, a film in which she plays a sexy Russian spy.
