Kendall Jenner On Rumors That She Is A Lesbian Impelreport
This has been a great year for Kendall Jenner. The supermodel, who appeared on her fourth cover of Vogue US in the April 2018 issue, became Aunt twice more, was named Fashion Icon of the Decade by Daily Front Row, took a break from her duties with the industry and learned one of its greatest lessons in the midst of controversy.
It was almost a year ago, in April of 2017, when the 22-year-old star participated in a Pepsi commercial that sparked a wave of criticism around the world. Less than 24 hours after the premiere of the commercial, the brand decided to withdraw it.
“Obviously my intention was not to hurt anyone,” Jenner told Vogue. “Honestly, I just hid in. It hurt me that I hurt other people.”
And he continued, “I had been screamed before, I had been in the middle of the controversy before, but nothing at that level, you can never really prepare for something like this.” When asked if anyone talked to him about it, the reality star said no. “Nobody came to explain to me so I would say, ‘Oh I understand,'” he said. “But I’m not an idiot, I can see it for myself.”
The commercial showed Jenner in a photo session in the middle of a protest. The protesters meet with a police barricade and she eventually joins them, offers a can of Pepsi to one of the officers and accepts it amid cheers. Some criticized the message and pointed out that a white woman with a Pepsi cannot be the answer to the wave of protests that are being lived in the United States before the murders of African-Americans by the security forces.
Kendall, who was raised with African-American friends and family, said, “I did not think the commercial was controversial exactly for that reason,” adding, “Was it when I physically clashed with the police that everyone went crazy? that way”.
After everything happened, Jenner learned to look more closely at things. “I love to please people, that’s what my work has always been about. You arrive at the set and do what you’re told. Most of the time I do not consider myself special, I’m just a normal gossip who likes to be with your friends and eating pizza, my family, my agent, my friends, everyone makes fun of me for that and they tell me that I have to give myself some credit, “he told Vogue . “But that’s what I learned: I must be more present, pay more attention.”
She recently noticed that on the Internet they claim that she is a lesbian, despite her very discreet affair with NBA player Blake Griffin, forward of the Detroit Pistons. The author of the article noted that Jenner called her the day after Valentine’s Day and told her he was in Michigan visiting “a friend.”
So what are the digital speculations about their sexuality? “I think it’s because I’m not like my other sisters, who say, ‘Here I am with my boyfriend!'” So it was something that happened for a moment because they did not see me with a boy, I always strive to be discreet with the guys, and I sneak out all the time, you do not want to seem crazy. ”
“I do not think I have a single gay or bisexual bone in my body, but I do not know! Who knows?” The model told the magazine. “I’m open to experience – I’m not against it or anything to do – but I’ve never tried it before.” “I’m not gay,” added the star, and said he has a “strong energy.” “Literally I do not have to hide.”
But the truth is that she did have something to hide, or at least something that she did not want to discuss in depth: the pregnancy of her younger sister Kylie Jenner. It was only this February that the makeup mogul confirmed that she was pregnant when she announced the birth of her daughter and the newest member of the Kardashian family, Stormi Webster.
“It’s not that it’s more exciting than the other births in my family, it’s a different emotion because she’s my younger sister, with whom I grew up,” Jenner told Vogue. “We all grew up as a couple: Kourtney and Kim grew up together, Rob and Khloé, Brandon and Brody, Burton and Casey, and then Kylie and I. Seeing my best friend grow up and have a baby?
Will Kendall want to experience the motherhood soon? Maybe in a few years. “I’m ready to wait,” he said. “I want to have children, but at 28 or 29”.
