US first Lady Melania Trump To Skip G7, North Korea summit
WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump’s better half, Melania Trump, will avoid the current week’s G7 summit in Quebec and does not plan to go to the arranged June 12 summit in Singapore with North Korea, the White House said on Sunday.
Melania Trump went to the G7 meeting in Italy a year ago. The US first woman, 48, has not been found out in the open since May 10 when she and the president invited home three Americans who had been held detainee in North Korea.
She experienced a surgery on May 14 to treat a generous kidney condition and was discharged from the doctor’s facility on May 19.
“She won’t go to the G7 and there are no plans for her to movement to Singapore right now,” her representative, Stephanie Grisham, said in an email on Sunday.
The White House said late on Sunday that the president and first woman would have a gathering on Monday evening for the groups of administration individuals killed in the line of obligation. The gathering isn’t available to the press, the White House included.
“I see the media is working extra time estimating where I am and what I’m doing. Rest guaranteed, I’m here at the WhiteHouse w my family, feeling incredible, and buckling down for youngsters and the American individuals!” she composed on Twitter.
A journalist for CNBC tweeted that he saw the primary woman in the White House last Tuesday with her associates.
