France continued, “It felt bad, we just wanted our families to be around and it was great because now I have a big family, I lost my grandparents when I was younger … Their grandparents are my grandparents now, so I have an extended family. Really wonderful”. Selena and France revealed the news of the transplant in September, a month in which they shared a photo of the hospital on Instagram.
“I discovered that I needed a kidney transplant due to lupus, I was in recovery, I had to do it to improve my overall health,” Selena wrote to her fans. “There are no words to describe how grateful I am with my beautiful friend France Raisa, she gave me the greatest gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney, I am incredibly blessed.”
In Harry , France also commented on the recovery process, saying, “It’s harder when you’re the donor because you lose something that the body did not need to lose, so you have to recover from that.” But she gained something her body needed. I was better immediately while I had a bad time. ” “Basically I have four scars,” he told the host. “It was through laparoscopy, I know what mothers who had caesarean now feel, I do not know how they care for a child afterwards, it’s crazy, I could not get up without someone helping me, it was a very humbling process. To bathe alone, someone had to help me because I could not move. ”
And he continued, “I am a very, very active person, so the fact that my doctor told me that I could not move for two months … Two months.” I could not make an effort, all I could do was walk. For me, I have a dog and what I love most every day is having a coffee and walking and I could not do it, it was very, very difficult. ” Since surgery was practiced, France has proudly taught the scars on its Instagram and on the red carpet.
