Tonya Harding is an American skater, the second in history capable of completing a triple axel jump in competition. However, she also became famous for an incident that happened in 1994. That year her main rival, Nancy Kerrigan was attacked by a hired thug, who tried to break her leg. Days later it would be discovered that everything had been organized by Harding’s ex-husband to win the US national championship. The marriage was involved in legal problems and they were prosecuted for the attack. Thus began the decline of Harding’s career.
