Will Kit Harington participate in the Game of Thrones spinoff?
Kit Harington knows nothing in particular about a spinoff of Game of Thrones, and if you really do one, he will not participate. Last June it was revealed that HBO had plans to produce a prequel to the series, and contemplated five possible ideas.
Harington, who plays Jon Snow in Game of Thrones, told GQ Italy that although he does believe there will be new versions of the series, he “will not be involved.” He said the great thing about the show is that HBO could do a prequel “300 years ago and save a lot of money” because the cast has become “very expensive”.
In June 2016, Deadline reported that Harington and his co-stars Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau would have paid more than $ 500,000 per episode in the seventh season, which ended in 2017. HBO has not commented on the salaries of the cast. Harington will repeat his role in the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, to be released in 2019.
When asked about his plans for the future, the actor told GQ Italia that he has thought about acting more for movies, and also said that he would like to star in a play, another series, take two months off and spend time quality with his fiancée, Rose Leslie, who also participated in GOT .
